HIS HAND . . . REALLY? As I sit here on a rainy, sleet filled atmospheric day outside my office window contemplating this weird retaped sixth plate, I still can’t believe the smooth skinned hand on the boy’s chest and the one draped over the edge of that covered table actually belonged to the same soul. Yeah, I can see that the nail beds of both hands were filthy. Since the light entered the odd space from the right, it would cause each paw to have different definitions because of their respective placements, however . . . Looking past him at the different shades of grays and blacks revealed that at least two cloths were used to isolate the subject. That might have been raw floorboards across the bottom. I won’t even begin thinking about his clothing, chopped hair and rather eerie expression. Minor marks and mold mites are on the silver. The intact leather case is very nice.
