Sixth Plate

DIFFERENT HUES! One eye might have been blue while his other orb appeared to be a darker shade. The man’s maker added tinting to the face of his very crusty client. Was that a clamshell razor he used to scratch across stiff whiskers earlier in the day? I suspect that was a huge comb over to mask the gent’s balding pate! The dark line above the fellow’s lip was a scar. In spite of the operator’s less than skillful grasp of the art, the retaped sixth plate likeness was acceptable to his client. Oxidation and a few mold spiders are visible when a complete leather case is opened. I should add the blue on that shirtfront was solarization. The depth was deeply reflective.
