AMAZING SYMMETRY! And the lady's lovely head of puffed hair was tinted red to contrast with pigments painted on her pretty face, creating an added effect to an otherwise nearly pristine and perfectly posed person in her resealed sixth plate portrait. "D. F. Hunt No. 1002" was penciled on the green bottom paper in the complete leather case. I suspect that she was taken late in the daguerreian era, circa 1858+-! Wonderful reflected depth is also impressive. Any teeny marks you see in the scan are without consequence.
