TINTED COVERLET. Was she a real imp when her parents finally permitted their daughter to come down from her perch, where she sat comfortably while resting her feet on at least one book? The gent who was responsible for the child’s resealed sixth plate, kept in the bottom of a worn and cracked leather and wood case, made a nice portrait. He embellished the little darling, with that scowl on her face, with light red tint. Then he added blue paint to the flowers on his large cloth that masked out a child’s chair and his posing table. There is one brown spot on the fabric and oxidation inside the oval periphery. The horizontal darker lines were shadows in the wrinkled backdrop!
