TERMS OF SALE
1. TO PURCHASE: I will download the salon and antechamber on Wednesday prior to the actual sale on Sunday. You will have the opportunity to view all the images leisurely so that you will know before the Sunday10 a.m. start, what you would like to purchase. A new feature will permit each client to email me with a price above the listed price that they would be willing to pay. This will include all dags in the salon and each photo in the antechamber. Your offer must be at least 10% higher than the listed price, rounded up to the nearest dollar amount. Emails to that effect will have to be received by me no later than noon Friday before the Sunday sale date. If no one else competes for the item, you would receive it for the listed price regardless of what you might have been willing to pay. If two or more persons send email bids for one item, I will contact the under bidder and they will have an opportunity to place a second higher bid even after the noon deadline but prior to 5p.m. Friday before the Sunday sale. The second bidder will also have an opportunity to place one more bid if their initial bid is topped. The highest bid is the price that will be paid for each item in competitive bidding. If two or more folks make the same offer, they will be notified by me before the sale and asked to make a higher offer. If there is still a tie, the person who emailed first with their second offer will be the winner at his or her higher offer. And the winner will not have to be the first caller on Sunday. I will mark each item in the salon and antechamber sold when the site is posted that morning at 10 a.m. Otherwise, it will be business as usual, the first call or email I receive for each item will be sold at the listed price. (All times represent Eastern Standard Time). Only emails will be accepted for the bidding process. 2. PAYMENT: When a daguerreotype is purchased, the total price for the image plus shipping and insurance will be given. Payment must be received in five working days or the image will be sold to the next interested buyer. For your convenience, I will accept Mastercard or Visa at the time of your phone call/email. Please be certain to include your correct shipping address, phone number and email address during the transaction. We will gladly ship all images internationally.

3. SHIPPING: Since we have recently had an incident with the USPS I have decided that from now on, Erin, Casey and I will send every image through the mail requiring a certified mail receipt that requires your signature. The additional charge will be $2.65, plus the cost of the Priority Mail. We will waive the signature requirement if you make a purchase from us and tell us in an email that you would like the parcel sent Priority Mail with the normal delivery confirmation slip. I know how bothersome this is, but we want to provide the best images and service possible, within the limitations of the carriers we work with. As for insurance on packages, don't believe for a moment that carriers who allow you to purchase it, will completely back up any claim.

4. GUARANTEE: I will make every effort to faithfully reproduce and describe each item. Upon receipt of the daguerreotype, case or related item; if you are dissatisfied for any reason, it may be returned (in the original condition along with proper packaging and insurance) within three working days. I would appreciate a call or email first to let me know of your intentions. A full refund, minus the initial shipping and insurance costs will be made.

5. DURATION: It is my intention to leave each image posted for approximately two weeks, even if they are sold. Then, I will offer 15 new daguerreotypes simultaneously.
