TOOTHLESS GRANNY . . . Held her spectacles and a half plate sized mother of pearl dag case in her wonderful worn hands. We all know that she never could have afforded to have that large image taken and had to settle for this compelling resealed sixth plate that is held in a full leather case. I might rethink the potential wealth of the woman since she was the wife of "Rev. Abner Reeves"! We all know how some of those men of the cloth managed to fleece their flocks! Bold contrast and great reflected depth mitigate any mold spiders and small brass mat scrapes. A slight touch of rouge was applied to her ancient cheeks. Narrow patina mimics the design around her. I have to add how pleasing her portrait was.
