Sixth Plate

A CROWN OF HOAR FROST! Well, not exactly but I did like the literary comparison that could be made to this individual's head of white hair. He was flanked by a dimple in the highly reflective surface on either side of his dark jacket. Those occurred when the daguerreian flexed the plate during the polishing process. The restored sixth plate was a resounding holographic success and presented the subject with great dignity. The elderly chap retained the spark of life when he visited the unknown gallery. His early leather case, with a faded purple silk pad inside, is apart.
