A CLASSIC PYRAMID! And two heads of hair were puffed out about as wide as would have been humanly possible in the mid-1850s! The seated gals were definitely sisters I think, while the serious frowning girl who stood for this composition and placed one hand on each of her companion’s shoulders might have been a relative or close acquaintance. Naturally the next owner of their sealed sixth plate can make the final determination. The trio is held in a complete leather case with a floral theme on both sides. Oxidation does encroach on each woman. None of the plate faults on and around the subject on the left are green spots. The only green one on the entire surface is the middle speck in the series of three above the other seated patron of the arts. Mold spiders and a couple pieces of dust that were permanently attached to the silver are also visible.
