D16-124 Terms of Sale
BOY IN BLACK! I wish that the lad’s velvet tunic hadn’t been buttoned while he posed for his resealed sixth plate. It would have been a treat to see more of his boldly striped shirt. His trousers also had an interesting pattern. I wonder what the material was? The kid certainly was well groomed and very attentive. He concentrated on a point beyond the lens and remained motionless during the quick exposure. I think his flesh tones had been nicely tinted originally, but I suspect that the surface was cleaned and now there is hazy retarnish that formed. The other marks are very minor. His leather case is apart and very worn from constant opening and closing. His actual portrait is very bright and reflective.
