DC18-2 Terms of Sale
THE ORIGINAL . . . Dome of curved glass was used to reseal the handsome teenager’s sixth plate that has aged with some funky circles of odd patina. The scratches seen next to that elaborate pin with a crest in the center of his neatly knotted tie and on that velvet jacket collar are all part of the marks on the glass. I suspect that he was a member of a fraternal organization and this might have been his “official” daguerreotype, taken mid-1850. Red rouge was painted on his cheeks and lips. As you might expect, the depth is holographic PLUS! The fine leather case is complete and there is a brilliant bright red velvet pad inside.
