D08-22. THAT WAS . . . How his subject sat on an invisible chair (or else he was keen at elevating) and the maker thought, "Well why not?" Starting at the fellow's prominent knee we see his clasped hands, a white shirt front flanked on all sides by the darkness of clothes and a low beard until arriving at his rather congenial mouth overseen by remarkable eyes set back in canyons of flesh. Pleasant tinting adds lifelike character to the man's recently resealed sixth size likeness. Wings of gray (or newly sprouted horns) flew above the man's ears. He certainly was casually relaxed while his chosen daguerreotypist performed his tasks. Many mold mites dot the surface inside a ring of oxidation but they don't affect the gent. The bottom of a leather case holds his holographic example. $155
