D04-C. REMARKABLE PRESENTATION! The lovely elderly gent is identified on the reverse of this amazing artifact as: John D. Jones. The hot spots on the front are caused by the most wonderful piece of beveled and slightly convex glass I have ever seen on an example of dag jewelry. The glass magnifies the man, who has magnificent features and softly tinted cheeks. The reflection on the back is because of the curve on the golden surface. I believe that the object is completely original and has never been taken apart. Those scratches on the left side are on the glass, along with all the white specks and flecks. The surface has ample tarnish and perfect condition. The measurements, including the pin, are 1 3/8ths inches by 1inch. $650
