D01-160. CEMENTED IN TIME. I have seen some rigid poses in sixth plate dags that have been resealed; however, the woman shown here is rather amazing. There is truly structure in her positioning. She held her breath so long and hard that I believe she began to list towards the left unconsciously. The placement of the half column was rather odd, don't you think? There are too many angles and surfaces for a casual glance at the sitter. Never-the-less, if you are looking to purchase an image that hasn't aged, that still retains tinting and must be considered in perfect condition (you receive her weirdness in the price) then she is definitely for you!! The technical aspects are all exceptional. The gold embellishments on her jewelry were very well done. The very worn leather case is in two pieces. $165
