D05-15. UNCERTAIN . . . This little boy was not delighted sitting in that cloth draped child's chair to have his sixth plate image taken. However, the maker managed to record the child for posterity and ultimately please his parents, since the retaped likeness has survived. The baby did bob his head slightly, just as he began to slouch. The dag is remarkable for its tonal range on the darker side. A little red blush was added to the kid's cheeks and lips. There is excellent holographic depth and definitely more "bounce" than my scan reproduces. One area of mold spiders is on that dress; chest high and other ones are spread around. The two brown spots at the lower right corner seem to be harmless. Patina is present completely around someone's little darling. The intact lather case has a floral imprint and "Pretlove" the diesinker stamped in the lower left corner. Opposite the teeny tyke is a plain red silk pad. $220
