D03-173. M-O-P MAGIC. I think that the kid posing for his sixth plate image has the darkest eyes I have ever seen. They are black holes!!! The illumination from above the camera was absolutely sucked into them. While his portrait is straight forward, the cover of the repaired mother-of-pearl case is stupendous! The iridescence of the slices of m-o-p is fantastic! The delicately painted handiwork around the super thin wafers is awesome. This case should be placed in a frame and displayed as an art form itself. The dag, which is retaped, is simply an added bonus. $240
