D02-159. LEANING GENT. The spine on his mid-1840s sixth sized leather case was repaired in the past but the top rail of the cover has gone missing. The youthful fellow, with a large mole on his cheek, puffed out his broad chest and sat with a swagger! One might expect to see the proverbial "chip on his shoulder" too. What was he attempting to prove? Spotty tarnish and mat marks are around him. The white specks on his shoulder and near the brown spot are part of the surface. He has a new seal. If you are collecting men with attitudes, please consider him. $155
