D02-66. WOMEN SEATED. You all must realize that sometimes, even I have a difficult time describing a rather mundane sixth plate. My first impression was, "what a neat mat!" Then I decided that neither gal knew what to do with her hands. Remarkably, they didn't fidget while the lens was uncapped. I have to wonder why the lady on the left leaned in to the center and then tilted her head in the other direction? Did her equilibrium become unbalanced and she felt it was necessary to tip it back? Could the maker have made that suggestion? He did achieve good technical quality. Heavy, dark patina flows around the girls. I have no idea what those two little specks above the sitter's shoulder (on the right side) might be. Nothing harmful. The piece has been archivally sealed and the leather case is together. $240
