D02-128. FUNNY LITTLE GENT. This rolley poley boy, right off the schoolyard is about to let loose in his typical jovial fashion. Running all the way to the daguerreotypist's studio to have his sixth plate taken was the only way for him to keep from laughing. At first he sat hunched over with chuckles until the photographer finally raised his voice and told the boy that staying still was the only way for the picture to work. Immediately afterwards he surely shot out of his chair and back out into the carefree life of youth. The dag has been resealed and is housed in a floral patterned half leather case. Unfortunately, but maybe giving to his rough and tumble nature, there is a black spot above him, small mold spiders to the left and right, and also his shoulder. For being such a youthful gent, he is rather well dressed. The operator also added colors to his flesh tones and the table cloth. $145
